The doll is absolutely beautiful. I love the fabric and the colours of her dress. I love the detail on her tablet. I’m very happy to have this Barbie. It’s very special. My only complaint is the shoes fall off easily. But that’s minor, so I still give it 5 stars.
Thankfully the doll itself was okay, and she is exactly as described. Good thing I wasn't planning on keeping her in the box, and that she was for me and not intended as a gift. Sent in a non-padded paper envelope and arrived crushed.

La Barbie è molto ben fatta e curata nei minimi dettagli ma, al di là dell'estetica, da persona autistica dico GRAZIE. Non può e non deve rappresentare tutte le persone autistiche, ma fa qualcosa di più importante: dice che esitiamo anche noi e siamo "Barbie in un mondo di Barbie" tutte diverse tra loro e non creature mitologiche in riserve protette... o persone a cui manca qualcosa come il simbolo del pezzo di puzzle narra ogni 2 aprile da decenni. Sapere che esiste una Barbie, da sempre simbolo di bellezza e perfezione, che rappresenta alcune caratteristiche del funzionamento autistico (la sensorialità differente rappresentata con le cuffie, la difficoltà di comunicazione rappresentata con il tablet, la necessità di fare stimming rappresentata con il fidget) è un qualcosa di davvero importante: la narrazione è diversa e non siamo più persone tristi e ripiegate sul loro stesse a cui manca qualcosa, non siamo più quelli che vivono nella bolla, quelli che non provano emozioni, ma potenzialmente possiamo essere tutto ciò che vogliamo esattamente come le altre Barbie. Ed è un messaggio potentissimo. Se anche un solo bambino autistico nel mondo si sentirà rappresentato da questa Barbie, beh, direi che è valsa la pena crearla e la Mattel è riuscita a fare un qualcosa che nessuna associazione e nessuno Stato sono mai riusciti a fare: far sentire un bambino autistico "solo" un bambino e non un numero su una lista d'attesa, non un problema da risolvere, non un peso per la società, non una disgrazia per i suoi genitori.
The doll itself is awesome. I wish the legs would bend but I still love the representation and the way she is. However, I had the same problem many customers had, that is, the package was torn in places and damaged. Thankfully the doll wasn't damaged at all, but if you're buying it as a present or want to keep it in its box, keep this in mind. Also quite a few hairs fell out while in the package. Another reviewed noticed that it looked like she cut her own hair and uneven hair was a feature not a bug, so I checked and my doll's hair is also pretty uneven.

This controversial product came exactly how I expected. The head was difficult to detach from the box but otherwise great. It’s perfect for capitalising on autism and spreading awareness at the same time. Barbie can be an astronaut or a baker or a president and now she is also autistic. What a wonderful woman. Yes the fidget spinner actually does work. She can however not hold her tablet. The headphones can fit other Barbies too.
Eine autistische Barbie. Als ich das sah, fing mein Herz gleich an höher zu schlagen. In meiner Kindheit liebte ich Barbies über alles. Dass es nun eine Barbie gibt, die wie ich ist, berührt mich sehr. Ich freu mich, dass der Konzern sich für ein vielfältiges Abbild der Gesellschaft einsetzt. Die Barbie an sich ist hübsch ausgearbeitet. Die Accessoires mit Fidget-Toy und Kommunikations-board finde ich super ausgewählt. Ich fühle mich super repräsentiert und habe nun auch im späten Alter wieder Freude an Barbie. Danke!

Trasig original kartong vid leverans till oss
Original kartongen med dockan i hade tyvärr spruckit under leveransen till oss. Vi behövde både en hel docka, men även en hel kartong för vårt ändamål. Därför blev betyget lägre.
